AI firm sues Apple for $1.4 billion, alleges Siri infringes on its patents

Apple’s Siri is not the most thriving digital assistant, but that did not quit a Chinese AI enterprise from use it as a signifies to block sales of Apple devices in the area and potentially score some settlement money. All of this is achievable thanks to a patent awarded by the Shanghai Supreme Court, which could be completely unrelated to the AI tech located in Siri.
